Sweet Potato Puran Poli

Ever tried making Puran Poli with sweet potatoes? Sounds different and innovative yet tastes yummier than ever! You’re festivities will crave more for this than ever before!

What do we need?

Jaggery- grated half cup, sunflower oil, sweet potato- 3 boiled till soft, all purpose flour  (maida) for preparing the dough & water to knead the dough, cardamom powder as required.

How do we prepare it?

Mash the sweet potatoes and add the grated Jaggery and heat till the mixture becomes semisolid. Add the cardamom powder and mix well. Knead the all purpose flour into a dough and make small balls. Make round puri shapes and place the sweet potato stuffing in between two puris, close on all ends and press like a paratha. Heat oil and cook it.

Serve hot with ghee!
