- Take a cup of saunf (fennel seeds).
- We will also need curry leaves and a half cup coriander seeds (Dhania)
- Also we will need 2 cloves of garlic,ginger,coconut piece,red chilies,tamarind & salt.
- Dry roast the fennel seeds(saunf),coriander seeds(dhania),red chilies,curry leaves till brown.
- Grate the ginger,coconut piece & grind the roasted ingredients with garlic & salt in mixer.
- Grind the ingredients to a coarse powder. Make sure it does not become too fine.
- Enjoy tasty dry saunf (fennel seeds) chutney with idlis/dosas by adding little ghee to it.
