Carrot Puran Poli

  1. Wash and grate 3 fresh carrots. 20161207_091626
  2. We will also need sugar and cardamoms. In a grinder, make a powder of the cardamoms and keep aside. 20161207_131114
  3. In a pan,add the grated carrot and pour milk in it till the grated carrots are completely immersed in the milk. Cook till the mixture thickens.1
  4. Once the mixture thickens, add sugar and cardamom powder to it.2
  5. Let the mix cool down. Make small balls from this mixture.20161207_124802
  6. In a bowl, take some all purpose flour (Maida). Knead into a dough with water. Immerse this dough in oil for 2 hours. 20161207_091654.jpg
  7. Cover the carrot balls with this Maida flour as shown.20161207_125012.jpg
  8. Roll these balls covered in Maida into flat roti like shapes and finish off on a pan.20161207_125243.jpg
  9. Yummy and tasty carrot puran poli are now ready. Garnish with dry fruits & serve hot!20161207_125427.jpg
